Crop not empyting in the morning

Update on Janie ..I took her to the vet ...he flooded her crop with water and wormed her ..his prognosis wasn't good he thought Mereks disease recommended that I put her down ans test her .. No way..out of the vets she perched all the way home. It was obvious she felt better. The next day her crop was empty and she's running around with all the others. I'm worming my whole flock currently with wazane.

Since you are worming, why not use a wormer that gets all of the chickens worms--wazine just get roundworms? Valbazen gets all of them, and Safegard Liuid Goat wormer gets all except tapeworm which is not that common. The dose for a brahma would be 20 mg per each 2.2 lbs of either. I'm glad to hear that she is better.

Some feed stores carry it, but I think most people buy it online.
