I brought my girl in and kept her in an animal carrier. With a combination of Poultry Cell, baby food, and probiotic/electrolyte water, along with crop massage, we appear to have resolved Tap’s impacted crop. She was lethargic in part due to the heat wave and impacted two weeks ago. Two to three times a day we syringe fed her the aforementioned items (pictured). We try to introduce yogurt but she was not a fan. As things started to appear to clear we introduced hard-boiled egg, banana, sliced/skinned tomatoes, cucumber and cantaloupe without seeds. Then we gave her Hentastic pellets (we call it chicken crack) and mealworms. After over a week of thinking she would be dead at this point, she will be rejoining her flock today or tomorrow!Hi, one of my chicks had a full crop this morning. They had no feed at night. He is lethargic and is sleeping a lot. Is this impacted crop. What can I do?
Fingers crossed!
Good luck!
