One of my hens has been going through a really hard molt and her crop is definitely slowed and not empty in the morning. Do I treat this as an impacted crop or do I just leave it be?

I have seen crop slowdown when they are molting or broody, since their metabolism is slowed. I would make sure that she eats a bit every day, so a bit of moistened chicken feed and egg would be good to offer. Then if it seems to be getting worse, you could treat for a cdop problem.

Thank you. This is what I was leaning towards as well.
