I 'm sorry to see she didn't pull through:hugs . Thank you for your bravery through your experience and the wonderful support team really help us all to learn and maybe when this happens to someone else they will be able to say yes I can because you tried.

Hi. I am new to BYC. I have been trying to read up on all info I can. I have been really glad to find topics like this one so in the event this sort of thing happens to my birds I know what to do. I totally agree with doing the surgury yourself for all the same reasons as everyone else. Thank you to those of you who shared all this valuable info with the rest of us!
 
You did what you had to do. You tried! Don't beat yourself up over this grieve in whatever way makes sense to you - and then look ahead. You helped countless people and animals with your posting. Thanks for sharing.

You did a great job. She was weak and sick. You gave it your best shot. You learned alot through the experience. I don't know of anyone who could have done better under the circumstances. Don't feel bad, your did the best yoiu could.
