Crop swollen on NEWBORN chick, looks like air, HELP!

This guinea chick was born last night at about 4PM, and it seemed fine, I didn't notice any abnormalities. Then when I went to bed I noticed a HUGE bulge sort of over its right shoulder and into its chest. I picked it up so I could see it better,and it appears the be the crop swollen beyond belief with air or water. You can see right into it! It looks as though it could burst, it is SO badly expanded. It possibly could have access to the water wells below the mesh??? Maybe it is air from skwaking? He was kind of moving like a normal chick at first, now he is on his back alot. He can right himself, but he is clearly off balance due to this thing.


I am worried about this hatch because there are only 2 chicks so far, and each has a different issue.

Me too! There has been no change. I was hoping it would go down as the digestive system worked. He's still in the bator drying off.
