Hey everybody it’s been a while since I have posted anything here. A couple months ago I made a thread about my Easter egger project. I just wanted to give a little update. We have been hatching like crazy in my little styrofoam incubator that my beautiful wife bought me. I don’t think it’s turned off more than a couple days since I got it. We have hatched some very unique Easter eggers. I have used many many breeds to get where I’m at now and still getting new birds. The main focus right now is feather and egg color. I am on my 3rd hatch of Easter eggers from my own stock, and I have also acquired some from Hoover’s, which by the way has the best Easter eggers of any hatchery I’ve got birds from yet. I will soon be having Olive eggers in the flock ( I purchased a few green fire farm line marans and they are laying! I’m gonna post some pictures of what we have had hatch so far. Let me know yalls input.

Cute little EEs! I’m glad your project is going well for you. As soon as one of my hens go broody she will get about eight EE roo x white Leghorn hen’s eggs to hatch. Probably won’t be the prettiest offspring but they would probably be really good layers of large pale green eggs.

They will be and word of advice. They should lay blue and they will still be Easter eggers.
