Hiya!

So I have a little white Silkie called Sunny. She has a crossed beak. She eats and drinks well but she is infested with lice. Her beak is crossed so she can't groom herself properly. Her neck and wings are covered with eggs and everywhere you part her feathers there are heaps, and I mean HEAPS of big and little lice. I don't know how to get rid of them. Is there something I can do to her groom and get these off?

Thanks!

Sorry to hear about the lice problem... Here is my reply to a post from yesterday that may be of some help to you...

Once you get rid of the mites/lice, you can add sevin dust to her dust bath to help maintain and prevent further infestation.
