My Americuna(blue egg girl)

Am guessing you have an Easter Egger not a true Ameraucana.
So only 50% chance she will produce blue laying offspring.

Does mom lay a good blue egg? Or super light blue?
If she lays a nice blue, she probably has 2 blue egg genes.

My best blue eggs came from EE's...crap shoot if their offspring had blue shells.
My CCL's lay pale blue but all their offspring have blue shells.

Interesting..

My only light blue egg Ameraucana ended up being heterozygous for the blue egg gene.
