Fist this site is awesome for finding things out as a fairly new chicken owner. We really enjoy our chickens and there eggs. I am a computer tech and am not very knowledgeable about some of this but want to learn.

Have you checked out the Learning Center? The various forums are full of great information.

If you would like to find out what others in your area are doing, go to "where am I, where are you," to locate and post on your state thread.

If you are happy and your chickens are happy, you are doing pretty well for newcomers.

thank you all we have read most of the learning center but not all yet and have been checking in here from time to time ever since we got them any time we had a question we usually found it here so when i started wondering what we were about to hatch out needed to join so i could ask more direct questions that i could not find i have another post in breeding/genetics thanks again
