Cross question

Hi, everyone. I have looked all over the internet and can’t find an answer to this question… Does anybody know what I will get if I cross. Silver-laced Orpington too with a buff Orpington hen? What if it is the other way around and the roo so the buff?

Also, what is the best resource for this sort of question- is there any book about Orpington genetics that I haven’t been able to find?

Heterozygous gold/silver halfspangled cockerels (I'm using the term spangled really loosely when I say half spangling I mean really poor spangling.)
Silver halfspangled pullets.
The other way around would be a sexlinked cross, but I don't know how the chicks would look.
Heterozygous gold/silver halfspangled cockerels
Buff halfspangled pullets.
Also you'd get a lot of autosomal red.

There is no book on Orpington genetics because Orpingtons have the same color genes as any other breed. I would recommend Sigrid VanDoort's Chicken Color Genetics if you want something pricey otherwise you could get an online education like I did originally
