Crossbeak Thread!

Although, I’ve heard of cross beak worsening over time. Fortunately, I had been handed my little lady (snow) amongst a bunch of other, more sickly hens. I’ve even seen an Easter egger with crossbeak so bad, it looked like it was inflicted by another chicken rather than hereditary.
Sidenote: Snow was kept with what I think to be her siblings in a cage. 20 of them to be exact. And they all, more or less, had some form of crossbeak. All Easter eggers. Poor things! Hopefully these features get bread out of Easter eggers entirely before it gets too out of hand (even though it kind of already has :/)

Oh wow. Interesting. Also so very sad. We just have our one cross beak who thinks she’s a human I think 🤣 she’s very needy and always on one of us. She also tries to come into the house and I have to chase her out 🤣
