I bought this little cutie because she'd been overlooked due to her slight crossbeak. The store manager thinks she's an Ameraucana/Polish cross. She's around 9 months old. Included is a picture of her egg (it's the small pale peach one) in comparison to the egg my EE lays.

She's ver try interesting! Not quite sure what she has in her, but I do think the Polish part is likely. She looks surprisingly similar to a Brabanter, although they are rare, especially the black variety so I would bet anything that she isn't one

Very interesting. You're probably right, though. The offerings from that hatchery are usually more common breeds. I did end up with one accidental EE from my chick purchase last year (she was supposed to be a silver-laced Wyandotte). I almost wonder if she isn't some mix like an EE since she has a beard and chipmunk cheeks.

Which hatchery?

Sometimes looking through their list of breeds can help.
I am not sure the name, but they supply Wardle Feed and Pet Supply in Colorado. That's a really great suggestion! I will call the store today. :)
