crossing a white leghorn onto a dominique hen?

If I want white leghorn type and put him onto a Dom hen , will I get just the 50/50 white and some barring off spring? I want the leghorn type with the barring. Should I then put that generation of barred pullets back onto a dom rooster? Also the ear lobe on a leghorn is white, what I can remember that color is recessive, so will it change over to red after several generations with the dominate red earlobe of the dominique?
