crossing blue pekin hen with "barred" cuckoo roo

Hi,
I would like to get your advice. I heard that crossing black hen with "barred" cuckoo roo is for improving the "barred" color.
what about crossing the "barred" roo with blue hen ?

Hi! I don't know about improving barring.
Mated with a blue hen, you'll get barred and blue barred chicks --- all barred if the roo is BB barred, half barred and half solid (blue and black) if he is Bb barred.
I have a hard time telling BB barred from Bb barred.
