Crossing colors

Okay. I decided that I'm getting mostly Brahmas (I used to have them and love them so much) and then a few leghorns for eggs.

I want light and buff brahma hens and a light rooster. What can I expect crossing the buffs and the lights? I'm hoping it won't be something funky

Crossing a Light Brahma rooster on Buff Brahma hens will give you all pure colored Light Brahma hens and the roos will look more like the Lights but with a yellowish sheen.

If you did it the other way around with a Buff roo on light hens, then you would get sexlinks, the hens would be pure gold gene buff Brahmas and the roos would be about the same as the ones above.
