I've been doing s lot of research about what breeds can be crossed to what to get sex-linked chicks, from my I'm standing you can cross a Speckled Sussex rooster to a Barred Rock hen and get sex-linked chicks. Just curious if anyone has tried this, how easy are they to sex and accurate is this crossing.
Thank in advance.

As I understand it one of the best ways is to use a silver based hen and a colored cock.
Classic cross is Rhode Island Red cock over Light Sussex hen.
Marvin, below, would know more for sure.

Hey everyone! I just hatched 6 chicks over the last couple nights, I’ve been reading on sex linking, does a golden laced Wyandotte hen and a creased cream legbar rooster create this style of chick? Both the babies that were born from my Wyandottes have the white dots in their heads. I wasn’t sure if this combo would do that or not. Thanks for any help. The lighter brown one is from I believe my buckeye and the legbar, the dark gray/black one and the white one is from my cinnamon queens and a splash maran rooster.

Cream legbar rooster over a gold laced wyandotte will not produce sex links.
All chicks from that cross will be barred.

The best cross I've made for sexlinks Was a Melanotic Rooster crossed to a White skin/White shank Hen, the females had black skin at hatch and the roosters had white skin at hatch.. you could sex them them even before they hatched...

That is very cool Marvin I never thought of that .good to see you again online again. where you been ?
