It's been a week now since I made a post last about my chicken. I wasn't sure if I should make a new one or keep posting on the old one so I went ahead to make a new one. She's lame but seems totally fine otherwise. She hasn't laid any -eggs, but I'm not sure if that's typical because it's winter. Egg production has been low this winter across the flock.
She's still not walking, we can't find anything really wrong with her aside from a small cut on her left foot. She has been crossing her legs and not walking, almost like she can't feel her left leg?. She'll kind of flap around if she wants to get somewhere nearby. She's been outside in a separate cage where the chickens can be around her but not get to her. I try to give her monitored time around the other hens when it's not too cold out, but I never leave her because I know our geese would go after her and she wouldn't be able to get away.
Any advice? I don't want to cull her but also don't want her living life in a cage. Thanks
