Crow or cluck?

I had 2 hens go broody this summer and they produced 4 chicks. The chicks are about 4months old, one is a little younger. All were bred by a Copper Marans rooster. Some (2i think) had hens with rose and peas combs as their blood mom. I am just confused bc of the smaller combs how to tell if they are Roos or hens . (One of the smaller combed hens was an americana)
