UPDATE: I got off work early and went to check on it. I didn't find it so have to assume it got free.

Maybe the crow was just goofing around. I've seen them act that way, when I go up to check on them, they fly off! Glad you noticed and went to check up on them. Hopefully he was just playing.

That would've drove me nuts knowing that bird was in the fence. Like coffeelady said call her or you could email me(I get them ASAP on my blackberry) I would've check on it, I'm close enough. I'm a sucker for any kind of animal
