Crowing Araucana Pullet, HELP!!!

110% sure it is a roo, don't let anyone convince you otherwise. Rehome him before the neighbors complain.

I think Stella is a rooster, too. My 21 week old EE pullets are just now changing comb color. But the EE roo's (same age) comb looked like that at the same age as your bird. Pretty bird that you have!

Good news-your pullet isn't crowing, your cockerel is.

I hate to say this but I agree with the other posters that all 3 look like cockerels. Their wattles are awfully large for their age. I have 30 13-weekers and the only ones with wattles are roos. Plus, I see what looks like the start of sickle feathers on the black chook

The black one, Delilah, is an Australorp and she is 15 weeks. Our third, Pearl, is a Golden Laced Wyandotte and she is 12 weeks. I'm becoming convinced that Stella is a Steve and have already put the word out to friends that have a farm. I'm pretty sure Delilah and Pearl are girls but I will definitely be relieved when the eggs start showing up. I'll try to post pics of the other two for confirmation.

I know what you mean about a weird crow. We just had our first raising of roosters that were supposed to be hens.

There crow started out sounding like a baby crying saying mom, then finaly it started to sound like a rooster, but it took a while. I agree with the others it looks like a very pretty rooster.

I have 2 lorps and they looked much like yours. We have one we were sure was a roo until she laid a lovely large brown egg, right down to that curve of the tail.

Dont feel too bad....I had what we thought was a pullet ...Looks exactly like the one in your picture...and yep...she is a he.....So I learned that not all roos have a comb...sorry
