Is this possible. I heard the highest pitch "crow" coming from the brooder just a few minutes ago.

I am thinking it's my Polish, Rowdy. Can it be crowing at 3 weeks? Does it look like a Roo? I don't know about Polish.

Here are the brood mates, 1 silkie and 1 Olive Egger (2 weeks)

Wow it does, I was hoping I was hearing things. I always assumed this chick was a Roo, because of it's rowdy nature, the first time I let them out to explore one of our older chickens came to check them out, Rowdy jumped at them and scared them away, I never laughed so hard. It was priceless.

Thanks for the info...I thought I'd flown the coop, my banty roo, who is till really small was coca-doodling all over yesterday.

Glad to know I am not the only one, ha ha. I can't wait to hear him do it tomorrow.
