Crowing contest!

This isn't a question as much as a statement, but my rooster and my neighbor's rooster have crowing contests throughout the day. At least 3 or 4 times a day one or the other rooster will belt out a crow which is promptly answered by the rooster in my neighbor's coop. These contests go on for 5- 15 minutes or longer! I love listening to them!

lol, thats awesome!! your so lucky to be in a place where you don't have to worry about keeping neighbors happy and government out of your yard!! i love the sound of a rooster crow

I have two that go back and forth between pens and my biggest guy goes back and forth with the neighbors! It's like an alarm clock that doesn't stop until night lol

It's a 'duet'!
Have had those in my coop, it's funny....but am always glad when the cockerels are gone and it stops.

Have a neighbor who recently got chickens, FL and a bantam crowing over there....my boy would duet with the LF,
but he seems to be gone now....and my boy ignores the bantam, who's just a little two toned squeaker anyway.
