Crowing Quail Quashing Quietude

Our quail woke me up at 5am this morning...again. My boyfriend’s darn plant light turns on at 5am because his precious tamale & pepper plants need 18 hours of light. I just needed to vent. This is a different take on the classic pets vs plants situation. Feel free to share your experiences! Also how the heck can I stop the males from crowing short of getting rid of them?

How many males do you have?

I currently only have three cages of quail.
One male per cage and my boys do not crow ever.

I have two good roosters that crow right on time every day adding quail might disrupt that. But I might buy a horse. Do they crow?

It's been years since I've had horses. I don't remember them crowing. @Overo Mare do horses crow?
