Crowing question

My 20 week old boy tried his first crow the day before yesterday and I thought" ouch that was bad" then my four year old showed him how it's done, I haven't heard the little guy try since. I guess he was embarrassed.

My 7 yr old dd was doing that with laying- she was showing them how to squat, all the while clucking.

: Although, we got our first egg today, so maybe her demonstrations helped.

Not only do they get better, but mine like to hide under something

to practice until they get it right. Cracks me up to see him sneaking into the coop to do it.

I got like 11 rooster(getting rid of some tomorrow) 6 to 10 pullets and not a sound or egg one. the ages do range 19,17,15,12 or something close to that. I wish I had some kids to teach mine what to do. I am thinking that it is going to be next year before I see any eggs, for it is starting to get cold here.
