Crowing Rooster Photo Contest

Cock-a-doodle-do is a universally known sound that most people recognize. There is nothing more loud or proud than a rooster shouting its presence in the neighborhood! You'll find much to crow about on BYC as we invite you to enter the Crowing Rooster contest. Take a picture of your handsome crowing rooster for a chance to win one of 3 prizes!

If you'd like some tips on how to take better photos - even photos of fluffy butts can be better - then take a look at these awesome threads:

It's easy to enter, just reply to this thread with pictures of your male fowl crowing, gobbling, etc.

To increase your chances of winning, please read the rules before entering.

Rules:

1. All domestic male poultry allowed (chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, peafowl, guinea fowl, quail, pheasants, emu, etc).
2. Four entries per member. An entry is *one* picture of your domestic male poultry.
3. Other animals may be in the photo, but the star of the photo must be the crowing rooster (or tom, gander, etc.)
4. The picture needs to have been taken by you.
5. You cannot use a photo that won an award in another BYC-sponsored photo contest.
6. Basic editing such as cropping and other subtle changes are allowed.
7. Images that have been resized might be disqualified if they are too small to judge.
8. No people in the picture (no faces, fingers, hands, arms, etc.).
9. No screenshots, and no watermarks, date stamps, text, etc. on the picture.
10. ALL pictures MUST be uploaded to BYC and not hosted on other image sites, personal websites, etc.
11. Prizes are limited to one per person per contest.
12. Open to all BYC members.
13. All BYC rules apply: Terms of Service (Rules)
14. Entries will be accepted through July 14th at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.

If entries warrant, we will have two categories, landfowl & waterfowl, and prizes for both categories.
Prizes

Place	Prize
First	$50 BYC Store Gift Certificate or a 1-year PFM ($60 value) for yourself or a friend.
Second	$30 BYC Store Gift Certificate or a 6-month PFM ($35 value) for yourself or a friend.
Third	$15 BYC Store Gift Certificate or a 3-month PFM ($20 value) for yourself or a friend.
Fourth	1-month PFM for yourself or a friend.

BYC Store Gift Certificates are available to winners that reside in the United States. If the winners are outside of the United States they will be awarded a PFM instead.

Oh my gosh! Same with mine. He NEVER stops. I go out there at night sometimes and he crows.
