Never personally had issues with it, but have heard from others that yes, they will nab a chick given the opportunity. The crows around my house always keep to the forest (maybe because I have a bunch of big roosters) but chick peeping attracts all kinds of other stuff…gives me a nice survey of just about other predator in the area whether bird or mammal.One more question: We have 2 month old chicks inside the coop. They’re still too little to go out into the run. Do you think a crow might have wanted a young chick, it might have heard the babies chirp chirp chirping or do they only eat eggs?
