This is the second or third egg like this I've seen from this hen. Sometimes it's in the nesting box, sometimes it's just in the yard.

Ideas?

TIA

This lady is a year and some old. She's never been real consistent in her laying.
We brought her inside and gave her some yogurt. Calcium was my first thought too. Thanks!

Agreed,, oyster shells,, laying rations only contain the minimum calcium required,, some birds just plain need more,, feeding free choice is usually best,, the hens eat what they need,, they are quite capable of knowing what their bodies require good luck
