Crumbles okay for banty chicks?

I'm feeding my OEGB chicks Manna Pro chick starter crumbles.
My past exerience has been with full size breeds.
The feed store used to sell me "mash" (Like course sand.) Now all they have is crumbles.
I've been grinding the crumbles up in a blender to make it finer.
The peeps will be 2 weeks old on Sunday. Now that they've grown some, I'm trying the crumbles, unground.
They seem to be chowing down, but it's hard to tell if they're having trouble with the larger pieces.
Are crumbles small enough for 2 week old banties?

Mine ate the crumbles from a few days old and were fine.

Yep, mine had medicated crumbles and, then as an adult, Flock Raiser crumbles. No problems...

Agreed, but I still crush some up with my fingers a bit when it it the larger stuff. One brand of feed is very fine, the other (Dumor) is huge and the tiniest bantams have trouble with it. I do think they peck it till it gets smaller if needed though.
