Crushed egg shells

Thank you. Is there any rule of thumb about the ratio of crushed egg shells vs oyster shells or even feed type lime?
No. In my experience chickens prefer egg shells and will gobble up all of them as fast as you put them out in my experience. I don't bake, microwave, or remove membrane. Just air dry a day or two on a paper plate before crushing.

Feed type lime is Limestone for Poultry, correct? GC

Yes

Limestone is primarily calcium carbonate. Just like oyster shell. Which makes sense, as limestone is mostly long suffering layers of shells who have spent too much time in one another's company, baking.
Thank you, will look for it. Any Experience/thoughts of oyster shells vs limestone, like percent calcium carbonate, chickens liking it, unit price?

none. i live on the gulf coast. oyster shell is locally available dirt cheap, limestone in bulk is used in concrete mfg, but i don't plan to buy by the ton.
