Crushed Leg

Hello everyone, I was just given an injured cockatiel and while it may not be a chicken, I was wondering if anyone has had any experience dealing with this sort of injury... I was told that the previous owner shut the door on it by accident then decided to surrender it. The leg is very likely broken & dislocated and there seems to be an external injury as well. We don't have many exotic vets around here and the few around have a waiting list of at least a few weeks... until we can get this little guy seen, do any of you backyard chickeners have any tips? Any advice (besides euthanasia/culling) would be greatly appreciated!!!

I’m sorry. I won’t be of much help, but do you know age? Can the bird still walk/fly alright? Is s/he in pain? Can it still eat/drink?
