Crusted closed eyes

One of my buff polish chicks had its eyes crusted closed on arrival. I have gently wiped them and each day I feel like they've looked better, and based on other people posting similar questions, I also have been applying plain Neosporin without pain relief. It seems to improve, but the next day it seems to start being goopy again. What can I do to make this completely go away? Otherwise the chick seems healthy. It's now about a week and a half old.

Can you post some photos?

Have you flushed the eyes with saline? Sometimes chicks may get something in they eye or they can have an injury. Since the Neosporin seems to help a little , try something a different like Terramycin to see if that makes a difference.
