crusty chicky

Any one know if i can bath a new chick to remove the crusties and shell bits from them?
they hatched yesterday and i have some that need cleaning.

Personally, I wouldn't, keeping them warm is so critical at that age. It will wear off or the fuzz it is stuck to will fall off. But probably people have done it.
