I noticed a couple of days ago that one of my Barred (Plymouth) Rock hens looks crusty (they're about 14 months old). It's like she got really wet and then air dried (kinda like towels on the clothes line). We have had a lot of rain here recently, but none of my other girls look like that. Today, she seems to be losing feathers, but they don't seem broken or damaged, just crusty. She also seems to be feeling a bit logie and is sleeping separate from the others. She's still eating and drinking and spending time out in the yard, she's just a little...listless. I can't get a hold of her to look her over well without causing her stress. I guess it's possible she's just molting. Has anyone seen this before? Thanks in advance for any insight!
