Hello we had 17 of our own baby chicks and recently introduced 3 adult hens from a sale without quarantining... I know that was silly.

2 weeks have passed some chickens are sneezing but one hen is in the coop crying and has yellow mucous dripping from her bottom what could be the causes what is my next route to make sure she's ok and gets healthy

I would separate the crying hen inside a dog crate on some puppy pads, food and water for a day or so. Clean her up and get a picture of her vent area if possible. Could the yellow liquid be egg yolk? Is she straining? Do you know if she has been laying? I would probably give her a human calcium citrate with vitamin d tablet or a Tums orally, just in case she is having problems laying an egg or had an egg break inside. Also offer her some water and some mushy wet feed and a little cooked egg. Let us know if she is passing any droppings other than the yellow liquid.
