CT Chickenstock-2009

Let me think on it...hmmm...upon thought, let's go with dry t-shirts!!! Didn't' you wear a cute "Chillin' with my Peeps" shirt last year? That was fun...

Ok, this year it won't have chicken blood on it.

I'm thinking about putting in a Ranger order for shipping the week
before the Chickenstock or maybe some Muscovies. What do ya think?

I'm heading to Ocala for a week, maybe longer so, hoping a few of you will help keep our event fresh while I'm out of town. My mom has dial up and I don't have the patience.

We're still a good way from our chicken party/ tagsale on March 2 or 3, so I'm not worried, just want to stay current. Please, talk amongst yourselves!!!

Hey All

Just checking in... DH is still tackling the t-shirt designs, I'll get on him to finish up. And if you guys go with another design, that's OK, he'll get over it, LOL.

Someone had asked about a coffee maker earlier, we can bring one if its still needed.

I love the seed/seedling idea. I'm sure I'll have some to bring! I always have too many seeds to plant, and plant too many seedlings, too.

Our girls are both back to laying every day now, and with the ground thawing out and the bugs entering their diet, the size of their eggs are again approaching giant proportions. Their eggs don't fit in x-large cartons! Too funny.

Definitely not! That's how my grandmother and I always did it

Last year I got a couple hundred peat pots for free on the side of the road (I guess someone gave up gardening for good), so that's what mine will be in this year, but I'm not usually so fancy. Sometimes I use the plastic trays that baby greens come in from the store to plant trays of flowers or plants, too...
