oh oh I have an idea, what about a silent auction?

you set up a table , and peaple that want to auction stuff, they place it on the table witha piece of paper and if some one wants to bid on that item they write down there name and how much. and if others want it they put there name and price under the other name.
what you think?

And the winnings go to the person that is auctioning the item. and the item goes to the highest bidder.

do you want numbers assigned to names for the auction so we don't feel bad about bidding against each other...well, at least you don't know who you're bidding against. keeps it more "silent" that way. I can organize that if wanted.
