Cuban oregano OK ?

I have several of these plants which I THINK are a varigated Cuban Oregano although the person I bought them from thought it was a type of Swedish Ivey. Anybody know? And, is it ok to feed to the chickens?

It looks very much like the Cuban oregano in my herb garden, except mine isn't variegated. Does it smell like oregano when crushed? My chickens don't eat it. But if your chickens would eat it, I think it would be fine.
