Cucko Maran or Plymouth Rock?

Hi, we adopted this hen a couple of months ago and I assumed she is a Plymouth Rock, but I noticed her colors aren't as bright and her legs seems a little more white vs yellow. Can anyone tell me if she might be a Cucko Maran? She is probably about 17 weeks and hasn't started laying yet.

I would say Plymouth rock because she isn't as "dark" as I've seen Cuckoo's are. Plus I have a couple BR's with white-ish yellow legs.

Oh, she's a Plymouth Rock - Barred, commonly called Barred Rocks. I have one, plus I have a Cuckoo Marans, as well. The barring is much more muted on the cuckoo marans.

And she's very pretty, indeed!

Just got our third egg, I think it might be the chicken I spoke about earlier. This egg seems pretty dark (top egg). Maran eggs are darker right?

I would guess Barred Rock. Here is what my Cuckoo Marans look like. The dark ones are hens. The light are roosters. The brown are turkeys.
