Cuckoo maran egg size?

So my cuckoo maran, Big Momma, laid her first egg today. it's much smaller than I pictured. She's noticibly larger than my orpingtons, will their eggs be even smaller or will my marans eggs get larger as she continues to lay?

Her eggs should get somewhat bigger as she matures. That's a pretty egg, congratulations to you and Big Momma!
