This bird looks female to me. While the comb is a bit big, it is yellow still. I have had Marans and the pullets have good size combs, too. WAIT a bit longer if you can.A few weeks later and I'm guessing She is a HE? My mom really doesn't want a rooster.... but one rooster to guard as long as he stays sweet.... sigh. Just my luck? Actually never mind that comb is looking really roosteryI say she tbh I see no saddle feather or tail starting to curve. But I can see where you are worried comb and wattle. There are some hens have big combs and wattles
