Cuckoo maran sexing help?

these were from a hatchery and supposed to be pullets, but one has almost no tail and more barring. Do you think one is a cockerel? I can't have roosters, how hard will it be to find someone to take it if it is a roo.

I think the one against the "wall" is a cockerel and the other a pullet.

The one in the first post is def a pullet. I am still leaning cockerel on the other but it isn't as barred as some cockerels I've seen. How does that comb look? any wattles?

Nothing yet-I keep looking because I am suspicious of the differences in their tails as well.
