Cuckoo Marans chick question

I am supposed to be picking up Cuckoo Marans chicks Thursday. Will/should the leg color be different enough from Barred Rocks for me to know I am getting CM chicks?

barred rocks have yellow legs, cuckoo marans have pink

I have seen that info before on adults, was looking to find out about chicks. The 1 adult I have now, I posted pics of here when she was young, did not have yellow legs and was told Barred Rock. She never did develop yellow legs.

even as chicks barred rocks have yellow skin and cuckoo marans have pink. If they deviate from that they are likely A not that breed at all, or B not pure bred.

I guess I may be waiting to find out when they start laying and see if egg color tells me. My week old supposed Barred Rocks I just got also do not have yellow legs. Pinkish with a blackish overlay on the legs and some on the toes. Thanks
