Cuckoo Marans pullet or cockerel

What makes you say it's a cockerel? It have zero comb or wattle development. It sound as if they very well could be cross-bred, meaning the barring has nothing to do with it. Anyway, you can't really rely on barring with hatchery birds, as the genes get all muddied up.
Didn't see the potential parentage section....oops. That's what I get for not reading posts in their entirety!

Where hatcheries are concerned, though, I don't believe they're as inconsistent as people make them out to be. While not normally perfect, main breed characteristics still remain on most hatchery birds.....making them easily identifiable. The large majority of my own hatchery stock's stunning and, overall, decently correct. (quality also depends on the business.....Cackle, for example, is fabulous) Leaving margin for exceptions, there are still general patterns that can usually be followed.

That's probably true. (about the hatcheries). I've just seen enough examples here on BYC of Barred Rocks that are clearly female or male, but their barring is all messed up, to not rely on the barring as a indicator for the gender.

I’ll definitively post some progress pics in the next couple of weeks! Will be interesting to see who is right, lots of different answers

Progress pics!!! Light one...I’ve decided yes definitely cockerel but the other 3???? Still no idea!!!

From what I've read cockoo marans roos have red on the wings and breast area. I have 2 blues that were supposed to be pullets but one has really thick legs so I looked it up. She has no color but black with a small bit of white. That I think will go away once all feathered out. They are 4 weeks old.
