Cuckoo Marans? Sold as a Dominique

She looks just like my 2 hatchery Cuckoo Marans.

I bought 10 Dominique day old "pullet"chicks from Purely Poultry back in January (kept 6 and sold 4 after they arrived)Now that they've feathered out one is darker and has a single comb. Its also friendlier. There's also something different about its head.

I'm going to go now and check its legs and eyes (to be sure!)

Its legs are more yellow than the others (has less gray or black shading)I kept this one because I thought it was a rooster. and it is developing tiny wattles but instead of being lighter its darker.The comb is whats throwing me off.The eyes are same color as the rest.

I have yet to get a good photo of them when they're in their run.Its covered in 1/2" hardware cloth which makes it hard to see the chicks.They're almost 8 weeks old now

If I can't keep it my friend will . I don't want to breed a Dominique with a single comb to my flock .
