Cuckoo Marans

I am considering getting some cuckoo marans in the spring but I've heard that they don't do well in the cold. I live in Eastern Idaho and the winter temps will fall below zero at times. Any opinions on this?

Thanks for the advice- we'll probably order some in the spring after it's fit to go outside and work on my coop again. I need to divide it if I get younger birds. I'm fortunate in that my coop is 8 x 23 and I have lots of space.
