I am in-love with this color and plan on spending alot of time working on them. I know not alot of people have cuckoo's or even like the coloring because it's hard to work with because of skin color and comb coloring. I didn't see a thread started just for this color of silkie I love so much so I wanted to make one to talk and share with other cuckoo silkie lovers. So plz share your pictures and information you have and learned while breeding these lovely colored silkies.

(I have two a pullet and a roo)

My pullet (Muffin)

Very interesting! Can we see more pix?

I just got my first Silkie chick, a white one. She is adorable but I'm thinking maybe I should have gotten a different color because she is so bright she has no hope of blending in as far as predators go. Your cuckoo color looks like better camouflage!

Thanks for finding that for me but that looks more like swheat showing off their own cuckoo's then just being a cuckoo thread for everyone.

Here is more of my girl

I also have a roo he is alot lighter colored then my pullet I have him paired with some of my nice blk hens. I wish they would start laying (they are only 9 months old) I would love to start hatching some also.
