Cucumber Egg - green on the outside/white on the inside

This is something that I have never worried about but I do seem to remember that the eggshell pigment is the last thing added to the egg before it is laid.

PC, we're saying that the OP is right, and that it's weird to see a green egg with a white inside.

I personally believe that the inside shell membrane has dried white (which they tend to do) and is covering up a very pale blue interior.
