Cull or Not to Cull (my roo)?

I got them tonight and put them in the dog crate in the garage! Will keep them separate from my other flock for a couple weeks. They are beautiful birds!

Apparently they are silver penciled Plymouth Rock.
Maybe he lost his comb tips to frost bite.. giving him the funky appearance?

I was wondering what was rare about barred Rocks when they're one of the most sold birds ever... Penciled makes more sense... pretty birds! :love

Yes he froze his comb off! He does look kinda funky hey lol. I’m in northern Alberta and it gets to -50 here!!! There is a photo of him with his comb before it fell off, but I don’t have that.

I just heard about these kind of birds the other day and was telling my hubby I wanted some! They are absolutely gorgeous!! I'm a huge barred rock lover anyway but these penciled rocks are absolutely beautiful birds!!
