Ok, I've tried everything! (antibiotics,Tyland, ect.) I can't seem to get rid of her MG. I think I'm going to have to cull her. :/. :(. :/. As anybody had to do this, in this situation or have any other suggestions? What would be the best way to do it, preferably with out much blood. :/

I'm sorry. Was your hen tested for MG?

MG isn't something that goes away with antibiotics. Even if she recovered, she is a carrier for life. (likely more in your flock are too) MG also can pass through the egg to the offspring.

I replied to your thread in Managing Your Flock.

The simple truth is that if it is MG, you cannot get rid of it. It stays in her body and she remains a carrier, even if her symptoms are gone.

How do you know it's MG and not a virus?

The best way is with an axe. Quickest for her, but hardest for you, I realize. You could have the vet do it by giving her a massive dose of big animal anesthetic, though I think some do the heart stick method, something that really bothers me more than just removing the head with an axe.
