I just have to share! I am so proud of me and my husband. The first step for our first batch of roos set for the freezer is completed. D-day is next Saturday, and the roos were clipped and culled in a pen. Next year we will cull and clip wings on the roos as soon as their sex becomes apparent, because at 20 weeks and with 13 roos they have been torturing my poor pullets. Anyway I was just excited that we are one step closer. I love being self-sufficient and knowing that we are doing so much for our family's future!
